LORD Corporation has now released LORD Fusor 116 Plastic To Metal Cross Bonding Adhesive. LORD Fusor 116 is a structural adhesive designed to bond many types of rigid plastics to bare metal. The OEM proven LORD Fusor 116 is corrosion resistant and has a lifetime guarantee. It can be used to bond fibreglass, FRP, SMC, Carbon Fibre, ABS, Metton, polycarbonate and acrylic etc, to bare metal. It can also be used for bonding plastic to plastic and metal to metal. LORD Fusor 116 is ideally suited for bonding ground effects, hood scoops, Kemlite roofs, trailer walls and truck bonnets. LORD Fusor 116 is a two-part adhesive that can be used with a normal caulking gun; has a work time of 20-30 minutes; handling time of 1 to 1.5 hours; full cure and paintable after four hours.
